Installation and weave technique
A Full Weave here is a full curly weave with no leave-out, installed to create fullness, length, and styling versatility. We work with up to 3 bundles supplied by you; hair is not provided. Minimal hot work is used during the install to reduce heat exposure and help preserve your natural hair beneath the weave.
During the appointment the stylist fits and secures the supplied bundles to achieve a seamless, natural-looking shape and volume. Expect a focused installation aimed at even coverage and a finished silhouette that blends curl pattern and length. Bring reference photos so the braider can match your desired fullness and proportions.
How we protect natural hair
Protection is a central consideration for a no‑leave‑out Full Weave: because there’s no exposed leave-out, your natural hair is kept covered under the installation. The service description specifies minimal hot work, which means less direct heat on your hair during styling and a lower chance of heat-related stress compared with high-heat methods.
That protection involves trade-offs: covering all of the natural hair achieves maximum fullness and a polished finished look, but it also means your natural hair won’t be showcased while the weave is installed. If you want to keep some of your own hair visible, discuss options before booking so the stylist can recommend an appropriate approach.
Styling, volume, and practical notes
The result is a full, natural-looking style with beautiful volume; how full and long your finished look is depends on the number and weight of the bundles you bring. Because the salon does not provide hair, choosing the right texture and quality for your goal is important. Local climate in Los Angeles — warm, dry summers and mild winters — can affect curl appearance and day-to-day styling.
Plan ahead for scheduling: Full Weave installations are detailed services and the appointment runs 180 MINUTES, so evening or weekend slots are available for commuters and parents. Demand rises in May, November, and December for events and holidays, so book early if you need a specific date around graduations, weddings, or the holiday season.
